Article Submission Guidelines

Article submissions to AddAnArticle are free and new articles are indexed once a day, approximately every 24 hours. This means that any article you add to our database will be searchable by, and available to, visitors the day after it is submitted. Prior to submitting an article, please search the database by article title to check that your articles have not already been submitted by someone else.

We urge you not to submit articles that are not owned by you.

Only submit your article to one category. Submissions to multiple categories will automatically be removed.

Submissions that are less than 200 words will be removed from the database. Longer articles may also be removed if they contain no useful content.

Submissions that consist of a few lines of text with a link pointing to some other site where the article resides will be removed.

Article submissions that are plagiarized or in violation of another author's copyright will be removed.

Use the resource box for linking back to your site.

Please limit resource box links to 3 or fewer - Articles containing more than 3 links in the resource box will not be approved.

Submitting your articles to AddAnArticle does not entitle you to financial compensation of any kind - You will not receive compensation from AddAnArticle.com or the users of our directory for articles you submit.

Submitting an article in no ways guarantees inclusion in our directory - We reserve the right to reject an article submission for any reason.

Articles must be spellchecked and proof read for grammatical errors prior to submitting - Do not submit articles filled with spelling errors and bad grammar.

We do monitor article submissions and we will reject content that doesn't meet the requirements.



Note: AddAnArticle reserves the right to remove any article or articles for any reason with or without notification or explanation. In cases where the above or additional guidelines are seriously abused, so-called authors will be banned.

 

Article Criteria

Article submissions are subject to length restrictions. These are defined below:

Article Title: maximum 200 characters.
Article: minimum of 2,000 characters. Allowed tags; all
Author Resource box: maximum 400 characters. Allowed tags; all
Article Summary; maximum 200 characters. Allowed tags; <i>

Please Note: Characters include all spaces, line breaks, paragraph breaks and punctuation.

 

Formatting and Links

We recommend that authors submitting to AddAnArticle copy and paste articles from a basic text editor. This will ensure that paragraph breaks, line length and other basic formatting will be properly handled by our submission form.

Use of HTML should be minimal and we suggest html tags only be used for creating live links to sites, services or products.

 

Free Content

AddAnArticle is a free content article directory. This means that any webmaster, publisher, or editor may reprint your article(s) subject to the basic terms and conditions. If you are an author that requires particular terms to be met prior to publication of your work, do NOT submit your articles to this site.

 

Copyright and Violations

AddAnArticle's policy prohibits the use of copyrighted material in a manner that violates the copyright owner's rights. This means that authors should only submit their own original work to which they have copyright.

In events where copyright is disputed, articles will be removed without recourse or discussion, regardless of the arguments presented by the disputing parties.
